1.3 Our websites are informational only. We do not sell goods or services through them, host user accounts, or process payments, donations, or other transactions on them. Where you apply to one of our programmes or make a donation, this takes place on a third-party platform and is subject to that platform’s own terms and privacy notice.

1.4 Our websites use cookies and similar technologies. Please see our Cookies Policy for information about the cookies we use and how you can manage your preferences.

2.3 Charity Entrepreneurship and Ambitious Impact are names and branding used by us and may be protected by trade mark and other applicable laws. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement, affiliation or association with us, or otherwise infringes our rights, without our prior written consent.

Nothing on our websites grants you any licence or right to use any trade mark, logo or other branding belonging to us or to any third party, except as permitted by law.

3.5 Except as expressly permitted by these terms of use, you must not edit or otherwise modify any material on our websites.

3.6 Unless you own or control the relevant rights in the material, or we have expressly stated otherwise (for example, where material is published under an open licence), you must not:

(a) republish material from our websites (including republication on another website);

(b) sell, rent or sub-license material from our websites;

(c) exploit material from our websites for a commercial purpose; or

(d) redistribute material from our websites.

3.7 If you download, print, copy, or otherwise use material from our websites in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our websites ceases immediately, and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies you have made.

3.8 You must not modify any copy you download or print, and you must not use any illustration, photograph, chart, diagram, video, or audio separately from the text it accompanies.

5. Information you send us

5.1 We handle personal information you send to us through our contact form and by email, or through our application and subscription forms, in accordance with our privacy notice.

5.2 Applications to our programmes are submitted through third-party platforms. Those applications are governed by the terms and privacy notices of the relevant platform and by any programme-specific terms we publish, not by these terms of use.

5.3 If you send us feedback, comments, or suggestions about our work or our websites, we may use them without restriction and without any obligation to you.

5.4 Our websites do not allow you to publish content, and we do not host user-generated content on them.

6.2 We do not control third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, or privacy practices, and the inclusion of a link does not imply that we endorse the site or its operator.

6.3 Donations you make through a third-party donation platform are made to us or to another organisation through that platform, and are subject to that platform’s terms and privacy notice. We are not liable for the operation of those platforms or for any loss arising from their use.

6.4 You should read the terms and privacy notice of any third-party website before using it. Our privacy notice does not cover personal data you provide directly to a third-party platform.

7. Limited warranties

7.1 We do not warrant or represent:

(a) the completeness or accuracy of the information published on our websites;

(b) that the material on the websites is up to date;

(c) that the websites or any service on the websites will remain available; or

(d) that our websites will be free from errors, interruption, or delay.

7.2 The material on our websites is published for general information only. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, tax, or other advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a suitably qualified adviser.

8. Limitations and exclusions of liability

8.1 Nothing in these terms of use will:

(a) limit or exclude any liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;

(b) limit or exclude any liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

(c) limit any liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or

(d) exclude any liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

8.2 The limitations and exclusions of liability set out in this Section and elsewhere in these terms of use:

(a) are subject to Section 8.1; and

(b) govern all liabilities arising under these terms of use or relating to the subject matter of these terms of use, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort (including negligence), and for breach of statutory duty, except to the extent expressly provided otherwise in these terms of use.

8.3 To the extent that our websites and the information on our websites are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.

8.4 We will not be liable to you in respect of any business losses, including (without limitation) loss of or damage to profits, income, revenue, use, production, anticipated savings, business, contracts, commercial opportunities, or goodwill.

9. Variation

9.1 We may revise these terms of use from time to time.

9.2 The revised terms of use shall apply to the use of our websites from the date of publication of the revised terms of use on the websites, and you hereby waive any right you may otherwise have to be notified of, or to consent to, revisions of these terms of use.

10. Severability

10.1 If a provision of these terms of use is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect.

10.2 If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision of these terms of use would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

11. Law and jurisdiction

11.1 These terms of use, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
